London May 2015
A few weeks ago I was with friends in London. We were in the city for 4 days. 2 of us have never been there and I was in London over 8 years. So My friend who knows the city really well, did a sight seeing with us. We went to London Eye, of course we took a ride. We saw the Big Ben, Westminster Palace, Westminster Abby, Lambeth Palace, Buckingham Palace, St. James Palace, Hyde Park, The Tower, Tower Bridge, Millenium Bridge, St. Paul’s Cathedral, The Monument, Picadelli Circus, Baker Street, Trafalgar Square and more… It was really a lot in a very short time. My feet are still hurting but it was worth it. In case you are wondering,…
Park Sanssouci
Ostdeutscher Rosengarten in Forst
Rest in Peace Pablo
A few weeks ago I lost my cat Pablo. I miss him terribly. If you don’t have or had any pets, you may not get it. Pablo was always there for me. It was nice to come home to someone. I wasn’t alone in my apartment. When I woke up in the morning, he always came to cuddle for a few minutes. On some mornings he was waiting for me to open my eyes. As soon as he saw I was awake he came to lie on top of me and get some love. He hated it when I sat on my computer because it meant he wasn’t in the center of my attention. When I sat on my couch to watch tv or read a book he slept next to me. Most of the time he needed some contact to me.
I think he hated it when I tool pictures of him. When he was sleeping and I took a picture he woke up and sometimes he even left. But these pictures helped me a lot in the last weeks because I was so cute and I loved him.
So this is one of the last photos I took. We were both on my couch. Pablo was sleeping and I was playing with my camera and my fisheye lens. I tried to take a photo of Pablo just for fun and of couse he woke up , because I was like 5cm infront of his nose. He wasn’t amused but I got my photo and really like it.
Berlin Mitte
Today I went to Berlin Mitte with a friend. We walked around and each took some photos. When the sun came out it was actually pretty great. I’m really waiting for spring. It’s time for some warmer days.
We started walking from Friedrichtsstraße to Bode Museum and Lustgarten. After taking some photos from Berlin Cathedral we went along Unter den Linden to Brandenburger Tor. We wanted to finish on the Main Train Station, so we also saw the Reichstag Building.
Berlin Tiergarten zur blauen Stunde
One day after work I went to Berlin to take some photos in the blue hour. I went to Brandenburger Tor and just started walking. I took some photos of House of the Cultures of the World (Haus der Kulturen der Welt) and Reichstag building with the tv tower in the background. In the end I went back to Brandenburger Tor and did some photos.
bouquet of tulips
It’s spring and this weekend the weather wasn’t that great so I bought a bouquet of tulips to have some spring in my living room. And today I tried different variations of photos of that bouet. I tried with different lenses and with different lightning.
